Hello! I'm Kimame, and I live in Japan. I'm American, but I strive every day to learn the Japanese ways of life. This is a blog for my family and friends to know how I'm doing, but if you somehow found it and don't know me, that's fine too.

This blog uses a monthly archival system: I post one entry per day on the home page, and then at the end of the month I clear said home page, with my older posts then being availble in the "Archive" section linked above. I will indeed update this blog every day, but on days where there is less to say, don't be surprised if I post a mere one-sentence entry. I will, of course, endeavor to write more than that, as the whole point of this website is to stop my English writing skills from getting rusty.
